Hello and welcome to my blog Idasa.org. My name is Nadine Samantha Riley, I am a mother of a healthy boy and a girl, and work as a Certified Nurse’s Aide. I was born in South Africa, but my family’s roots are from Nampa, Idaho. Currently, I reside in Stockton, CA. IDASA is an acronym of the state I live in (Idaho) and my middle name (Samantha). I created this blog because I discovered the wonderful world of couponing while going through a divorce and having to live on less income. I am happy to say that by using coupons when I shop, I have saved a tremendous amount of money and am able to afford the lifestyle I and my children had grown accustomed to.
With two healthy, growing children I had to learn to shop in such a way that was frugal yet still provide healthy, yet delicious meals for them and myself. I can say that using coupons saved our lives, literally. Being on a tight budget and having to provide for your family is no easy task. I created this blog to help other mothers out there who may be struggling with the same or similar issues in their own lives.
You can actually save thousands of dollars on your grocery bills a year by using coupons. The variety of items you can buy is endless and are made by top manufacturers. They give you these coupon discounts just for giving their products a try and it pays off and pays off well.
The extra money that you save can be used to buy your kids school supplies, take them on vacations, buy other needed items, or you can even use the money you save toward your kids’ education fund. There is no limit to how you can use that extra money, and in today’s world of economic woes, it will come in handy when you need it most.
I am not only surviving but enjoying a life filled with endless possibilities. My sons mean the world to me and giving them the best that life has to offer is my primary goal. As with any parent you want to give your child the things you didn’t have when you were a kid. It brings me such joy to see my children healthy, happy and so full of life. I don’t think that I could have provided for them in this way had I not started using coupons.
I think that I am also teaching them a valuable lesson on finances in their lives, and that is to stretch a dollar as far as it will go. It is showing them how to save money and teaching them about financial independence at the same time.
My children are happy, I am happy and life has been good to us. I would not change anything that has happened in my life, because all of it has taught me valuable life lessons, and given me insights into budgeting and creating a more sound financial future for me and my family.
