Human security is a people centred approach to citizen's safety and security, which leads to national, regional and global stability. Several countries in Africa have a backdrop of post-conflict political and military negotiations that impact on citizen's quality of life. In this context, Idasa works to empower citizens to improve their levels of safety and security.
