Citizen Leadership for Democratic Governance - Training course

The course aims to equip a group of citizen leaders who are able to make things happen in their communities. This is a LEADERSHIP training course for people from organisations involved in the tough, creative work of community-organising.

First: the course aims to deepen the participants’ understanding of how government functions and what role citizens can plan in sustaining governance initiatives.

Second: the course builds commitment to grass-roots organisations and citizen participation.

Third: participants gain skills for community organising and democratic governance.
